I think that is what it is called where your own immune system stops working cause the Prednisone gives the body what it needs so it stops working. Then when you are off the Prednisone you don't have your own immune system working.
Mine finally started working again after many many months, some don't.
But here again I was on a high dose for a longer period than those short term packages.
I also got cataracts but that was from even one of those short term packages the cycle before that one.
I have other damage that I will live with the rest of my life.
I call it the drug from Hell, nasty stuff.
For me that is. It can help others without all the real nasty side effects.
