You are right. It does the same to me but it's the only thing works. If codeine makes you throwup then definitely stay away from Stadol or Snadol (I forget the exact spelling)
Last night I was out with my wife and 2 other couples. The restaurant was hot and stuffy, well needless to say a nasty one started to brew in my head. I took the Amerge and a Tylenol Codeine. They other 2 couples went into the movie without me while I paced the street in front of the movie theater (Nose runnning, head splitting, left eye shut and throwing up in the alley from the codeine) But in about 1 hour the Amerge kicked in and knocked it out for good.
Anyway, I wish you much luck in your quest to beat this curse.
