If your anti-hypertensive is causing you insomnia,
may be you should switch medication. Consult your
physician. He may switch your medication, or lower its
dose. Sometimes, it is necessary to titrate the does, according
to the patient needs.

P.S. have your attacks gotten worst or better, or in any
way changed since you started taking anti-hypertensives?

What are you taking for your BP problem (chemical name,
and maker if possible)?
