Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but the first episode for me occurred three or four months after I had brain surgery. The surgery saved my life ( I had an uruptured aneurysm that would have burst SOON and have resulted in a very very painful and quick death ) so I feel I am hardly in a position to complain. However, I am sorry that your episodes began after facial surgery...many sleep-filled nights to you and yours.
