You need to see your doctor for prevention. Or try O2 or imitrex before pain killers. O2 and imitrex work faster for me. Sometimes the pain killer makes headaches worse. They just don't always work!!! Except what they give you in the ER and sometimes not even then!!! And it's nice not to be so groggy from the meds all the time if you can help it. Good Luck.
