I have had cluster headaches for 18 years. Here is a drug combination that works real well for me. I take 1100mg of Naproxen a day and 25mg of Amitriptylin at bedtime.
My cluster is 36 days old today, but for the last 15 days I have ben using these drugs I have slept through the night and have only had to use 3 imitrex injections. I still feel the headaches but they really do not hurt anymore.
