Thanks Liz,
I am so happy that I found this site. People
like you and many others here are some of the
most caring I have ever met. Yes, I have found
a few sites similar to this for Lou Gerhig's
Disease. Clusters are episodes of extreme pain that come
and go, at the time they are happening nothing else
matters. Lou Gerhig's (or ALS as it is called) is
a very slow disease that takes away the muscles.
As of right now there is no cure. The Doctors
say there is about a 10% chance that she will live
past five years. I say bullshit! I firmly believe
that a cure is right around the corner just waiting
for her. So in order of priorities, clusters are
tops when she's in her episodes, but ALS is most
definately the big weight on our shoulders. But
with faith and this Genome mapping I believe both
can and will be beat. Please excuse my rambling,
I'm towards the end of a workday and I get like this
after a long day.
I hope you are not in your episode time (is that
the proper term?). You seem like such a nice person
and you don't deserve it...
Sincerly,
Donny
