Steve's MRI was normal. He had a appt today and had a full blown 10 in the examining room. I was kind of glad that he did so the doc could see it as I think she was a little aprehensive about diagnosing him with clusters. She was fully convinced that is what he has now. She got to see him dance and commented that he showed all the outward signs of a cluster sufferer. She sprang into action and got him some Imitrex spray and a big ol ice bag for his head. She then perscribed Oxygen and Lidocaine nose drops. She said he HAD to take the Depakote because we need to figure out if it's going to work for him before he goes back to school and he needs to be on a preventative. She also sympathized with my feelings about medicating him.
So that's the story.

Thank you to Ueli and Paula for coming to the chat room to help answer my questions about the oxygen, I really appreciate it.
You all are SO wonderful. I really don't know what I would do with out you! It was very comforting on the ride home to know I was going to be able to pop in here and get my questions answered by people who genuinly care about Stephen. LYG!
