Looks like you took the first step with your doc. Welcome to this site. I am new to it also. But have had CH for over 20 years. Prednisone works for some. I had no side affects but also it didn't work. There is always something, it seems like coming along to try. A good nuroligest (sp?) up on CH will know how to proceed. and you can get lots of info here. And tons of support. Good Luck and welcome. Paula
