I do know that this is sometimes used successfully for
treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia (shingles),
applied topically on areas of headache pain. It inhibits pain transmission
somehow after continued use. My personal experience was
that it was impossible to use above the eyes
during the summer months because of sweating....ouch!
You'll be glad to be very careful in that regard...
wash your hands too after applying it...
I also found that amazingly the a little tube of the brand name stuff
(in stock) was almost 10x the amount of these mongotubes they sell of
generic brand stuff (out of stock). I obtained a lifetime supply with a single
purchase .....
