Your question about sleeping habits was a good one.
As an older woman I have a slight sleep disorder that has nothing to do with CH - at least, I have been out of cycle since last November, but I do not sleep more than a couple of hours at a time.
There are calls of nature, especially if I drink a lot of coffee (to which I seem to be addicted almost since childhood) and just general wakefulness at times.
Perhaps CH does have some bearing on this due to previous experience where my attacks usually came at 1, 3, and 5 during the night. But that has changed in the last couple of years. It is difficult to establish a pattern.
Before too very long I hope to post my questionnaire. But it must wait until others are completed. Mine is *very* comprehensive, but I had not thought to consider your question about sleep habits. I will add that one along with a couple of others people have mentioned since I began constructing my survey.
All information is important in trying to determine some common pattern among CH sufferers. I keep thinking maybe a clue will emerge if we ask enough questions. Maybe that is just wishful thinking. But it is impossible for me not to keep trying to think of some way to add to research. Whenever I think of the chronics my blood runs cold. This cannot just go on and on forever, especially for little children who might face a lifetime of agony. We all have to keep plugging. A little humor, however it is spelled, is always welcome to lighten our load.
