I would like to echo what Jackie said about oxygen and combing this site for other drugs that some of us have found helpful. My own case was a little discouraging with verapamil becoming less effective to the point where I was getting 6 to 8 attacks a day, mostly when I was trying to get a night's sleep. My neurologist out me on amitryptiline (sp?). I now have just 1 or 2 attacks per day, with oxygen and Lidocain nose drops to take care of these. I know it must seem hopeless, but it is not.
