Have you been able to try oxygen? I have used Imitrex plenty, and it always seems that I get rebound headaches from it...No matter what, I always have to go through at least one attack without it in order to break the cycle. I now use a med called Amerge. It was described to me as like imitrex, with a longer half-life. I was told to take one before bed, as I was getting up 3-4 times a night. And it worked for me. I now can take one half a tablet at the very first hint of a shadow of a headache. It keeps me pain-free for hours, usually.
