While I agree with much of what you are saying, an abortive is exactly that. It aborts the attack. I use O2 and if it works, the CH is gone, usually in less than 10 minutes. I may get hit again hours later but I consider it a new CH. BUT, that's my own experience. Like I said, everyone is different.
