I recently went headache-free with Verapamil for 63 days (a personal record), but my headaches returned this weekend. I've now added Celecoxib, and I keep an oxygen tank at my bedside, but, frankly, I can't identify one, specific medication that's stopped an episode: They tend to disappear under different sets of conditions.
Prednisone has helped in the past, but the myriad, heavy-duty meds have finally taken their toll, and my GI tract is in uproar. I'm foregoing the Percocet and other pain-relievers this time, because my stomach simply can't tolerate them any longer, so it would be indicated that this is going to be a tough siege.
