You can find out about the various headaches people suffer from, including symptoms.
It may give you a wider view of you symptoms and also help you to find out what it is.
I suggest when you have a good idea of what it may be, go back to your doc and hound the hell out of him!!
I hope you're pain free soon. Migraines (if that's what you're suffering from)in particular and headaches in general are no picnic either. I suffer from them too. had them from a teenager until just before I was diagnosed with clusters 4 years ago. However just this week they started up again.
