In the time directly after a VERY stressful event I sometimes get hit. I don't know if it's a coincidence since it's not always the case, but often enough where I can make a correlation. Or, it could be that the stress and the neurotransmitters released during it delayed the onset of the attack that would have been there anyway, and in that downtime it finally comes on. Or, as you suggested, it could be that the stress itself has triggered an attack.
This isn't refering to all stress, mind you. Just the times of highest stress.
