no problem, i get so confused finding my way thru all this med info. The verapamil was suppose to be a preventative that I had to take daily, but it made me a puddle on the floor - I was not able to function at all- so I had to stop taking it. I've been taking prednisone as a abortive, but it has slowly ceased working. It now clears the horrificness, but as soon as I taper to a lower dosage, the pain switches sides. If/when I clear the ice pick (I don't know how else to describe it) I will continue to have a headache varying from dull ache to almost unbearable for 4-6 weeks.
