I thought the same thing! We are trying to get rid of CO2!!!
It didn't make sence to me to have it added to the 02! Isn't that one of the reasons the mask has holes on the side?
What I found on the net about Carbogene is that it helps with vasodilation of the smooth muscles.
I posted about it to see if it made any sence to anyone.
