Sorry to hear of your malady Russ. I hope that your nuerologist can hit upon something to provide you with relief. I am responding to your question about experience with horner's during CH attacks. I personally get these symptoms often with shadows. My family will often notice the "drooping eye" and pupil difference before or after a CH. It's scary when I feel fine and someone asks "are you getting a headache? Your eye is droopy looking" ... generally means I'm heading for one shortly. Unlike you though, my eye will pour and almost shut with a severe HA. I have always had the "partial horner's" with my HA. As for advice, I can't offer much, I live in a small town with Dr.'s who don't know much about CH (including the now retired nuerologist that diagnosed me 20 yrs. ago). Up until about 5 yrs. ago, I wondered if this was something the Dr. made up because he couldn't find anything wrong LOL. Don't give up if it means changing nuero's. I plan to take my own advice on this one and fight my "managed care" group on it. You'll be in my thoughts.
