My first CH was in public...I was playing piano for a group of US Senators and movie stars for the Senators Cup event in Scottsdale. The demon picked the middle of "When I Fall In Love" to put an ice pick through my left eye. As water began spilling out of my left eye, I just sat there clutching my head, much like the movie "Scanners", right before the guy's head explodes.
Not having a clue to what this was about, and with the audience watching, I gracefully stumbled off the piano bench, and went out to the parking lot in order to writhe in private. It only lasted 10 minutes, so, and by the time security came to find me, the attack was gone as suddenly as it appeared. I insisted on them not calling the paramedics, went back and finished the gig, convincing them, I'm sure, that I was just a wacko. Never did get asked back...
