There are no guaranteees in this cluster business but Verapamil is one of the better preventative medicines. It works in a high percentage of cases and there are no serious side effects in an otherwise healthy individual. I have used it with great success for the last 10 years ( I am episodic, not chronic ) only during a cycle and it has always worked.
