I have suffered with CH's for 9 years or so and it has always been a surprise attack. My latest bout started in November and I FINALLY went to see a DR. for help.
I played med roulette for a few weeks and am now set on 80MG of Propanolol in the AM and 40mg in the PM and keep at least 4 Midrin in my pocket at all times.
The beast has not attacked full blast for 17 days and I am finally able to sleep at night. I do have soem shadows every once in a while and take the Midrin to head it off.
So far , so good.
This website has been a Godsend. I thought I was one of only a very few with this problem. I now know I am not alone. It is because of the other people on this message board
that I have taken the steps to confront this pain. I will continue to be very wary, our friend attacks at the worst possible time, ANYTIME. But I want you to know, there is HOPE!
All I know is that through meds and prayer, this flood has subsided for now.
