The docs used DHE-45 in injection form back when I was 13 and that was the last time they tried it on me...I don't remember the results...I still had a vial, with literature dated March 5, 1965, that my neuro about flipped over...In this literature it actually says for relief of Vascular Headaches and "Cluster Headaches", even way back then.
I don't know what the 45 on the tail of it meant...but I am sure some of you know.
The RX that I carry in my wallet, says for the ER staff to start me on DHE IV immediately. I also have the injections, but have never been brave enough to try them....to see if they work....You see, I know the Imitrex works for now and if the DHE doesn't work, then I can't turn right around and do the Imitrex.....
I would very much like to know the results of some of you on DHE....Please post followup or E-mail me information.
