My 84 year grandmother just got out of the hospital.
She was taking 10 to 20 mg a day of predizone for her arthritis.
The predizone knocked her blood sugar so our of whack that she had to go on insulin.
She is doing much better now. (off of the pred.) Still taking insulin untill here blood sugar levals get totaly back to normal. (Doc. told her about another week and she can stop the insulin).
I told her what i knew of Predizpne. Her doctor never warned her of any sideeffects. Just told her if she was in pain to take the pred.
Just thougt yall would want to know of yet another bad thing that can happen to you from Pred.
