child birth does not compare with the pain of CH,child birth has a glorious out come. This does not occur with CH. But I have noticed that during a cycle my tolerance to pain medication (when I take them, I use o2 almost excusivley) is greatly increased. I can take the same medication out of cycle - in the same dose as in cycle, and have it be far more effective in controling pain. I have never really understood why, just figured it had to do with the chemicals in my brain that change during cycle. It's like there is not really any medication that is capable of manageing the pain during cycle, so I pretty much don't take any - unless I'm getting desperate.
