Praying to the Verapamil Gods

Well, I just upped my dose of Verapamil from 120 mg/day
to 160 mg per day. Two nights ago, I was up half the night
with a dull ache that meds only briefly interrupted.
As a result, yesterday at work I felt terrible. Scared,
too. I've had my job for 20 years, and I love what I
do. I've recently been having chronic clusters, after
being episodic for 35 years. I just have to get this
under control, so I can keep my job and have some quality
of life. Then last night, the Verapamil kicked in. I
slept for a glorious 9 hours, and had no aches, no nothing!
Then all day today, no problems, no shadows, just a
normal, regular day. I did pretty much enjoy it, but
I have to admit, I'm thinking, will the effects of the
Verapamil continue? This is not a good way to be. My
husband tells me to just enjoy the moment, and be grateful
for each painfree day I have. I know he's right. But
I'm afraid I'll need a personality transplant.

Jackie
