I did take Imitrex before, Two years ago when I had my last cycle I took it for the first time. Then it seemed to work very well, took the pain away in maybe 25 minutes or so, which is not great but was better than nothing. I had 10 pills given to me by my doc then and by the time I had 1 left the headaches were gone. Probably I was at the end of the cycle. This time I got Imitrex Pills first but they really weren't doing much. They took at least an hour to work so i really don't know if it was the pill or just the headache ending. I tried the spray next but no matter what I do it gets down the back of my throat and makes me sick to my stomach and really lousy feeling for quite a while after. So next was the Zomig which so far works in 15 to 20 minutes, seems to make me sleep after, and leaves me feeling pretty good, except for a feeling like I have to work harder to get my words out for a while after I take it. Any one else notice this and do you think I should worry about it? Also I'm down to 2 bad ones a day from 5 so that's good. I'm just worried cause i'm getting them in the evening know and I have to work the next 3 nights. Anyway I hope this helps,and that you feel better soon. Keep your chin up. I'll be thinking of you.
