I was prescribed exactly the same RX as you, 640mg verapamil and imitrex inject as aborts. I have not experienced any shadowing, but I believe the verapamil has decreased the intensity and frequency of attacks. Heck i can make it through the night without waking up. most of my attacks come afternoon and they are between a 4 and 6, and thats about every other day now. I have been stockpiling the imitrex thanks to verapamil and prednisone. I do believe however that the imitrex prolongs a cycle of CH's, because I going on 7 weeks now and mine usually last 4-6 weeks.
