I was given large doses of predisone for sinisitus prior to an
operation on my sinuses. One morning I woke up in excrutiating
pain from the weight of the blanket on my knees. I am 44 and stricken
with avascular necrosis in both knees as a direct result of the
prednisone. It is the medication from HELL and I still don't understand
why doctors precribe it like candy. My life has
changed and as a husband and father I will never be the same.
