I think Brit docs are the worst with regard to CH.
Mine is wanting a "meeting" with me because I dared to try to get help elsewhere without his permission. Im terrified he'll strike me off coz Im asthmatic too.
The doctor who originally diagnosed me with CH about 4 years ago retired last year. My own doc is now saying he had no right to diagnose me as I wasn't his patient! HE feels I have tension headaches, despite the fact the Dr. Goadsby has even spoken to him on the phone and explained that I have all the symptoms of CH, possibly even CPH, and he then promised to refer me to him. When I chased him about the referral letter he then said he wasn't sending it as he still feels I have "tension pain" and wants to meet me to discuss "this whole thing"!!
Steve's right...change your doctor, Im going to!
BTW, if you ever want to chat Im ALWAYS around my pc (I work from home). What can I say, I have no life!!
