I don't know... Maybe you all know a lot more than I do. Maybe you knew right away that the "matt" message was a hoax.
For otherwise I can't understand why matt deserved to be attacked for not knowing enough about net-language, (NT), and netiquette, (not posting her/his e-mail adress).
Heck, when I first stumbled upon this board, I didn't know the first thing about message boards and links and chat. Until recently I never thought of putting my e-mail address on my posts.
I still have to ask about things that are cut and dried for you veterans of the net. And I am fortunate that I meet with patient people who don't mind taking a minute off to explain basics to this computer nitwit - without putting me down for not knowing all that stuff.
Matt was not so lucky last night. She/he didn't understand the in-jokes, or the abbro's (short for abreviations...).
Maybe matt is a clusterhead. Maybe s/he is a clusterhead's faithful support. So I think it would have been nice if somebody would have had the charity to extend a welcome. Or at least enquire what matt was seeking on our MB.
So jump on me for being stupid enough to be taken in by the hoax of the year.I'd much rather be
