I am new to this board but not new to cluster headaches, I have suffered with them for the past 14 years. My normal cycle usually last for 8-12 weeks and I have the ch every 3-4 hours in the day and every 2-3 hours during the night consistently. I have been in remission for 3 1/2 years (longest I have ever gone)but they started back on Thursday evening but only in the evening and when I slept. I went to the doctor and she put me on prednisone, verapimil and oxygen. My question is that after I started the meds on Monday evening I have not had 1 headache, not that I'm complaining, but this has never happened before. Has anyone ever experienced 4 1/2 days of clusters and then they went away with meds? Like I said it has been 3 1/2 years since my last one and I can't remember if they started out scattered the way they are now or if I am setting myself up for a big let down thinking that they are gone. Any insight would be helpful....thanks
