Bob is right. The reason that such drug combination
is contraindicated is because it makes the MAO inhibiting
drug far more potent, as well as the imitrex, than
they would under normal circumstances. Again, and
referring to another post of mine above this one.
If imitrex does not have effect, perhaps might be
because either there is so much 5-HT that it would
take a sausage-like factory of imitrex to win this one,
or that your vasodilation part of the CH is taking place
in a region in which there is not 5-HT1 receptors,
the one that Imitrex works on...so you are shooting blanks...
no mater how much imitrex you take, or how much more
potent you make it, it will not do a thing
