I'm 44 and have had these for 3 years. I don't know what episodic is. They just showed up one day and never left. I'm sure there were some breaks in there, I just can't remember. Started lithium in July and went headache free through November. Damn things started creeping back in December. Going to the Neuro on Wed. I'm just happy to have had a vacation and count my blessings. Although my neuro considers me chronic, I can't complain too much after reading some of the posts here. Somebody earlier mentioned that they were getting wimpy, no way, the people who post on this board have got to be the toughest bunch alive. Hang in there. Pat
