What Hutch said: I start with two an add one every half hour depending on intensity of pain. Generally no more than 4-5 per attack, 5 will often make me throw up in the end but by then relief will be on the way. It works REALLY WELL for me, even giving a slow but long-term effect lowering the level of pain. I will combine cafergot with a cold towel on my forehead and background music. Beware of using when travelling, will give me heavy motion-sickness, something I never suffer from otherwise.
