Not sure exactly which browser you're using, but it does look like you're on Windows 95, so your brower may be an older version. Consider upgrading to a newer, more feature-enhanced version.
If you're on Internet Explorer, go to www.microsoft.com and click on updates. For Netscape, it's www.netscape.com.
Another option is to select the "Frame Free" version of chat.
