I'm starting to wonder whether my most recent CH cycle was infection-based. This may sound pretty gross, but about two weeks ago when I blew my nose, out came a large yellow blob. Yellow or green denotes infection...might've been a sinus problem. Anyway, there were no subsequent headaches. During the next cycle, (assuming the worst), the first med I'm going to request will be a kick-ass antibiotic. If my theory doesn't hold water and the antibiotic is ineffective, I'll ask for Amerge.
Also, here's a bit of apocrypha; a few nights ago, I saw a T.V. blurb on accupressure. For intractable headaches, the doc suggested lightly pinching the end of the nose while jiggling it up and down, applying more force on the upward jiggle...sounds weird, but...?
