If you need to be on Prednisone for long term use, you need to Know there are some serious side effects. I was on it for aprox. 2yrs and I gained 100lbs., had cataracts, got osteoporosis, I have A Vascular Necrosis in both knees and hips, I broke my foot from osteo.,I have severe back pain.I used to be a hiker, now I use a walker. And I'm 45 yrs old.
