the whole idea rests on one point: that migraines are caused by vasocostriction. and haven't we just learned, not so very long ago, that there is ALSO a non bacterial inflammation of the blood vessels in the brain of migraine sufferers?

And then we're not talking Cluster Headaches yet.
Because wasn't that due to vasodilation? So where does magnesium come in then?

Could be scientists found a (partial) cure without really knowing what the medication does... But that was also true of aspirin. Only now they're finding out all the things aspirin is good for beside curing headaches (ordinary ones).

In the meantime, I have 1 report of magnesium "curing" CH, but no feedback about for how long...
And I am taking it again and getting a most terrific diahhroea.
