It seems to work just as well as the imitrex, I took the dissolvable type and it was about 20 min headache mostly gone (still shadow). I had gotten used to the effects of the Imitrex, ie: tightness in throat and racing heart,they eventually never happened. I now have to get used to the side effects of the Maxalt (very dizzy), brain not quite "sparking" right.
