Michael,

I'm sorry I don't remember the details but here is what I believe was said:

About 2 weeks ago a woman came to chat who I had not met before. She said she had received botox (sp?) facial injection at a clinic in Indiana. The result was paralysis in the one side of her face and half her throat. She has had many problems due to the paralysis: can't feel anything in her eye, had to go to therapy to learn to swallow with half her throat, and others. In addition she had NO relief from the CHs.

She said that there is guesswork when the surgeon is injection the stuff: too much leads to paralysis, too little and it will not stop the CH. The botox is suppose to kill nerves in the area that it is injected.

Again this is from my memory (which isn't too good) of a chat conversation. Therefore accuracy is in doubt, but the procedure sounds very serious.

Good Luck, stevek
