Hello,
I am the series researcher for a documentary series called Surviving
that will air on the Discovery Health channel. I'm currently putting
together an episode about headaches and I'd like to give cluster
headaches equal weight with tension and migraine. I'm having trouble,
though, finding really interesting things to do and see. For tension, we
can go to the drug store to compare all the pain releivers and learn to
do biofeedback, for migraine, we see MRI's of auras in progress and
learn about the new research being done. Can your members help me out
with some suggestions for equally interesting cluster related stuff?
Keep in mind that we don't have a huge budget so we can't stray far from Boston.
Also, I need folks with cluster headaches who are interested in talking
about them on the show. I thought I'd let you know that I'm sending out
a group mailing to all your Massachusetts members with their e-mails on
your site.

I must say that I am impressed by the response I've been getting. As I
mentioned, I sent out e-mail to your Massachusetts people; nearly every
single one has already written back offering their help. I'll be contacting
them with scheduling details so we can figure out who might actually appear
in the program.
As for the other aspect--the new research, interesting treatments and
such--I would be obliged for any suggestions and contacts the folks at your
site can offer. Please feel free to post my e-mail to the message board.
Shall I monitor the board or shall I just wait to be flooded with private
e-mails?
