percoset (percodan with acetaminophen base instead of aspirin), generic: oxycodone will work for me early on BUT:
have to take at first twinge to have it "on board" by time pain gets bad, and I never know for sure at early aura whether it's gonna be a real bad one -
I build a tolerance real fast, so it soon loses effect unless I take 2, and then...
usually I have a scripload on hand, but try to ration it out sparingly so if the vigoro really hits the mixmaster I can pop a couple and survive til they kick in
BUT found that high flow O2 at earliest twitch works so well that I need little or no meds
if i get right on it - that sure beats the addictive effect of percoset or the dangers of too many cafergot !
