Hello there,
I got some friends that I know for almost ten years now and when my clusters started out it was the same with them.
I wouldn't be worried that this might not be "real" friends who don't care for you.
My friends still can't get it, when I am unbearable for them because of the CH, but they haven't encountered them yet.
It took me at least a year to get them to accept, that I got ha that are beyond their imagination.
They still sometimes are a little "rough" when it comes to Clusters, but generally they learned to at least leave me alone, when
I am into one.

Maybe you should have them around, when you are hit, my friends showed sympathy and care, when I stayed there over night, got a ha and woke them up with my usual ha-behavior (stomping, yelling).
When they saw me (for the first time), with a bloodshot, tearing eye, pale and sweating, I was able to feel, that they understood suddenly.

I do not think, my friends will ever understand what I am going thru, but I hope they will never have to experience it.
And that is, why it is good to have this Website and Messageboard, because here are other sufferers, who understand.

I hope that your bout will be over soon,

Lars from "good ol'e" Germany
