The ER doctor prescribed MaxSaran (Metoclopramide) which was given through an IV at the hospital and I have it in pill form now. I have not found any other reference to it on this site.
He said the drug has been around for years and used to treat digestive related aliments. A side effect is it relaxs the smooth muscle found around the blood vessels results in the pain of cluster headaches.
It has only been 12 hours and my next attack was due half an hour ago, but so far so good. Has anyone heard of this?
