A day or two ago I read a news release about "painless" cluster headache. Some researchers tested a young man who had all the symptoms of CH except the pain. Later he had developed CH as we know it and was helped by sumatriptan(Imitrex). They postulate that maybe the symptoms precede the CH rather than occur as a result of the CH. I have tried to find this article again to give everybody a link; I can't find it.
Maybe someone who is better at surfing can find it. It was a news release that was discussed on a Houston TV (Channel 2) yesterday or the day before. Sorry to be so vague.
