I know just how you feel. I have had people tell me that they feel inspired that I should try something that may have helped their "brother in law beat his cancer or something". They insist if I don't try their way that I am ignorant or a fool. However One thing I hav learned is that if we want people to be tolerant of our dilema we can try tactful approaches. I have told several people "Well that's an interesting idea I'll put it on my list of things to try. It might be a while though because my list is long and I must give everything a fair chance. And sometimes it takes a while to try each suggestion. But thanks just the same.
Sometimes though if they push I get a little impatient. I have said to myself many times. "I can't expect them to understand how it is. I think that they're usually being sincere, a little insensative but sincere. If the pain was the only thing we had to deal with Clusters would not be quite as bad, Sometimes the hurt caused by others careless words can hurt in other ways then physical. The one thing is that when someone see's me get an attack they usually mellow out and say, " I had no idea they were that bad!". Oh well just another struggle in life. I think it' all relative if I didn't hav clusters I would complain if I got the flu, hurt my ankle or whatever. Keeping the smile is my goal and challenge. Thanks for the thoughts MIKE L
