Flash, Miguel and Margi, please take note.

After reading your posts on candida and the dairy connection I checked on the situation in the Netherlands on the Internet.

Milk with antibiotic residue is not accepted. All milk is checked and farms are penalised for antibiotic residue.

So I think I can happily go on using dairy products made in this country.

It made me, however think of something else that I haven't completely checked out yet. Cows raised for slaughter (and especially calves) are often treated with antibiotics that make them fleshier.
There is an elusive memory that Europe had a big fight with the US for wanting to ban the import of this antibiotic beef.

If all this is correct, and somebody can easily check at your end, it means that not only the milk, but also the meat is feeding consumers antibiotics.

Correct me if I am wrong.
