Shellie, I'm glad the prednisone works for you. I'm an espisodic sufferer and Prednisone was a miracle drug (combined with cafergot) for my last two episodes. Unlike other sufferers, I've never had any side effects with prednisone.
In my current bout, however, prednisone is not delivering the goods (as a matter of fact, nothing is delivering the goods). I'm still on it (doctor's orders) and tapering to 5 mg/day. I'll talk to my doctor and see if upping the dosage will be effective. If it's beneficial I'll post the results.
